About Besparro

Besparro compares the price of everyday groceries across Dutch supermarkets. Search for a product and you immediately see where it is cheapest. Put your groceries on a list and Besparro splits it across the stores that together give you the lowest total. Searching and comparing work without an account; an account only stores your lists, price alerts and savings history. The service is free and carries no ads.

The service is provided by Besparro (a privately run service): one person, not a company. There is therefore no Chamber of Commerce registration and no business address. Email is the way to reach us, and it is read:

• General questions, tips and bug reports: contact@besparro.com
• Privacy and GDPR requests: privacy@besparro.com

How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy; the rules for using the service are in the terms.

• Prices and product range — the supermarkets’ own public web shops and price feeds.
• Nutrition, ingredients and allergens — data from Open Food Facts, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). This is also credited on the product pages themselves.
• Price history and savings figures — our own database, built from the sources above.

Start with the frequently asked questions. If your question is not answered there, the contact page explains how to reach us.
